Joe has an excellent reputation as a creative and innovative engineer specializing in coastal development projects and beach creation. As founder of Oceanside Solutions, he delivers a combination of business professionalism, precise engineering and evolved design to coastal development projects throughout Florida, the Caribbean and beyond.
He has over 26 years of experience in creative design innovation, island development, master planning, marine engineering, and coastal mapping starting with his previous career as a Walt Disney Imagineer. As a Coastal & Oceanographic Engineer, Joe has dually served as the design manager and project engineer on coastal and waterfront projects for the Walt Disney Company, Caribbean Developments, an the Cruise Lines. He has also, managed and provided professional services for several projects in the Caribbean and the Americas. Specifically, Belize, Antigua, St Vincent, Dominican Republic, Bahamas, Jamaica, Turks & Cacaos, and coasts surrounding the peninsula of Florida. Joe obtained a Masters of Science in Coastal & Oceanographic Engineering from the University of Florida as well as a Bachelor of Science in Civil & Environmental Engineering. He is currently licensed as a Professional Hydrographic Surveyor and Mapper. Joe spends his free time surfing and enjoys playing calypso on the steel drums. He currently resides in Florida with his wife and son. |
